My daughter and I first purchased Easel clothing at a little boutique in Charleston. We fell in love with the brand because the clothing is so well made and stylish but also SO comfortable! I decided to name this shop in honor of my daughter, the strongest young woman I know. My husband and I have had a dream for a couple of years to start a "birthday bucket" event in our town of Greenback, Tennessee to give children who might not otherwise have a birthday celebration a birthday cake, age appropriate gifts and books for their birthdays. Every child should have a wonderful birthday, and we decided we could sell these beautiful clothes at a great price and fund this passion project. No one takes any pay whatsoever. The only expenses are the cost of the clothes and the website and the rent at the two places I have the clothing placed locally -The Southern Market in Knoxville, Tennessee and The Shoppes at Homespun in Maryville, Tennessee. So far, we've been able to give almost $1,000 in dream cakes to children. Join us in giving out happy birthdays! Every child should have one.
